  Tucked away in a wonderfully quiet and leafy part of Karen, Cold Springs is a small hotel with plenty of charm. As day guests, Our main purpose was to use the pool and order food. The pool is great - though very cold for children - with an unusual design that includes a waterfall feature (with cave)! Inside the decor has an edge too, luxurious and memorable. The food was tasty without being 'wow', with a menu catering for wide ranging budgets. Kids menu is essentially adult size portions, bargain! If you're coming for a quick bite then the service may not be up to speed, but it didn't matter in the slightest for us because we came to relax, with no rush. Ultimately, we came away with what we wanted: a relaxed holiday escape from Nairobi.

  The accommodation is like that of a five star hotel. The environment is lovely and the view is just epic

  Set on beautifully manicured grounds in a secluded corner of Nairobi's leafy Karen suburb, Cold Springs offers some of the best locations to take a break or host an intimate party. The owner of the house truly invested his/her time and resources in interior design and landscaping. The service quality was good with prompt waiters and a friendly manager who ensured that guests were satisfied. Food too was excellent though it takes a bit of a while.
