  Asked for a quotation and their prices are literally more than twice as much as everyone else. Rip off!!!

  I did not move with Cube Movers because when I asked for a quote by email the person who wrote back clearly tried to rip me off. I have an obviously "white" last name, so that may have had something to do with it. I was moving: A refrigerator A queen-size mattress A queen-size bed that needed disassembly and boxing 4 suitcases ~15 boxes That's it. I could make the entire move in an Uber except the three items of furniture. All items but the bed were already packed. I was moving from Kileleshwa and the bed was to go to one address in Kilimani, all the other items to a different address in Kilimani. All locations have large elevators. The price quoted? KES 32,500. I've moved halfway across the U.S. for not much more than that, so I asked for a breakdown of costs, to which their rep replied, "We have considered 4 major factors; Volume of the items, Labour, Materials for packing and transportation." Obviously that's not very informative, so I asked for the precise amount of each one of those, and the quote dropped to KES 24,000. I said I was going to compare prices and was told, "I'd appreciate if we agree now, no need to shop around as you have already contacted the best moving company with professional who can deliver without supervision. How much were you looking at?" I called Nellions, they came to my house the same day to look at the items, and within a day quoted me KES 17,400. Cube Movers are crooks. I don't recommend anybody use their services, but if you're white, you should definitely look elsewhere, or if Nellions is busy on your moving day, make sure you only deal with Cube Movers through a local, or change your name in your email to look African. Personally I think they ought to be put out of business.

  'Move without tears' summarizes their services. They do a good job, but they can be an expensive option.
