  Beautiful resort type property in close vicinity of Indian establishments and residences. Gives you a sense of tranquility and peace, with greenery all around the property.

  Located in the heart of Nairobi with 15 minutes walk from Westgate mall. About 20 kilometers from Kenyatta airport. Relatively big with lots of rooms and at least 3 swimming pools that i could see. The gardens are amazing with greenery everywhere. Breakfast from 6 to 10 is very good with lots of variety and good quality and lots of meat options. Lunch was also very good and there is a steak restaurant on site with very juicy beef steak. Single room has a very large bed , ceiling fan and AC . Lots of nice channels on the TV but no cartoons for the kids. Rooms on the expensive side but I don't know the average price in Nairobi. Internet at reception area is the best but restaurant and room area not that good but still very functional.staff are friendly and helpful. I liked it

  I stay here every month and it's great service throughout. The facilities are well maintained with beautiful rooms. Not a fan of the food though find in very bland. The breakfast buffet menu doesn't change which gets quite boring. A bit on the pricey side but I guess that's the price of quality.

  Southern Sun Mayfair (formerly Holiday Inn) is ideal for work conferences. The restaurant serves amazing food and offers a wide selection on their buffet lunch. Adjacent to the hotel is Spurs which has an offer on steaks every Thursday.

  A gem in the heart of Nairobi. After ploughing through the terrible traffic from the airport, you arrive at an oasis of calm in the heart of the city. The hotel is old and is in need of some upgrades. The staff are fantastic and they make you feel right at home! The room is fine and is very clean. Nice bed, all the plugs you might need to charge your phone, laptop etc. Ask for a garden facing or pool facing room then you have a bit of a view. The food is good and if you're not in the mood a buffet style dinner there is a Spur steak ranch in the hotel that servers great steaks! Massive variety of food! There is a nice pool area that is great for drinks after a long day and there is usually live entertainment that depending on your taste in music could be good or bad. All and all a good stay.
