  Are you looking to be surrounded by nature as you wine and dine? This is the perfect place. It is also ideal for people who have just come from a walk, bike ride or touring Karura forest. The Cafe is very restrict with its reservations, we arrived late and had to wait because they had already cancelled our reservation due to high demand, therefore strive to keep time. Their menu is unique has a mix of continental and African cuisines. This is a perfect place for couples because it is very romantic.

  The River Cafe is located in the heart of Karura Forest, a truly magical place in Nairobi. This restaurant removes you from the city and transcends you into another world. The quality of the food and service is 5 star! A must visit when in Nairobi.

  Nice view of the forest. Really nice view!!! Food is delicious, varied menu to choose from. Allows pets. Did I mention the breathtaking view of the forest? Good for family. Kind staff as well.

  The place is good. No doubt about that. A nice walking trail, well maintained picnic spot, pets friendly, full of trees. Better don't venture into the cafe. The prices are astronomical whereas the food is horrible. If you are interested in nature and some walking, running or cycling, go there by all means. If you plan to sit in the cafe, you have been warned.
